WOA!! recognizes that your privacy is important.

• Population Newsletter: Names and email addresses collected for the Popnews (Population News) newsletter email list will be used solely to deliver Population News to subscribers, to announce changes in subscription or changes in the Population News newsletter delivery status. Neither names nor email addresses will be used for any other purpose than to deliver the Popnews newsletter. No other information is collected from subscribers. Except by court order, your email address and name will not be given to any other party.
  
  Anti-spam: All subscriptions to this newsletter shall be at the potential subscriber's request (or by invitation) and confirmed by the potential subscriber upon a receipt of a confirmation email sent by WOA!! to the email address given by the potential subscriber (double opt-in).


• Volunteers: individuals who apply to help WOA!! are asked for certain personal information. All information is optional except for Name and email address. No information will be divulged to no one except WOA!!s owner, helpers, and employees working directly with the volunteers (on a need-to-know basis). Volunteers who summarize articles may supply a 'handle' which will be published along with the article and used to distinguish one summarizer from another. This 'handle' is optional. Some volunteers may also be listed on WOA!!s 'about' page. All such listings of volunteers will be with the volunteer's permission. Except by court order, your email address or name or personal information will not be given to any other party.


• Individuals seeking information from or commenting to WOA!!: Generally information is not diviluged to another party. However, if the recipient of the email feels that another expert can help, the email will be forwarded to that expert, and the communication cc'd to the original sender. Except by court order, your email address or name or correspondence will not be given to any other party.


• Already published articles: Occasionally names and email addresses from articles already published in another publication are re-published on the WOA!! website.
